PIR Security Lighting

PIR lighting is the most common type of security lighting used around the home and small commercial installations. A Passive Infra Red (PIR) sensor detects heat and movement within the detection area, which is usually between 2-12 metres, and then switches the light on for a pre set amount of time. This range of PIR security lights includes LED and Tungsten Halogen as these provide an instant-on light source.
