FAQ

How long will it take for my order to be delivered?

We endeavor to ship all orders within 1-3 working days subject to availability of stock. If any delays are expected on your order we will attempt to contact you by telephone or by e-mail to advise you accordingly. Many products are sent next day delivery including all Endon Ranges.

Can I return a product if it is not suitable?

You have the right to cancel your order at any point up to fourteen days after receipt of your goods, in line with your statutory rights. To cancel your order you must advise us in writing, either by post, by e-mail or by using the Contact Us page of the website. Should you wish to cancel your order after the goods have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning the goods to us within 14 days at your own cost unless the goods are faulty or misdescribed. You cannot cancel an order for lamps (bulbs) which have been delivered, except where a fault has been discovered that could not have been identified without installing the lamp. Nor can you cancel an order for items which are identified as special order or manufactured to order. This includes, but is not limited to: Lighting Columns and Brackets, Battery Packs, some Emergency Light Fittings and Emergency Conversions of standard light fittings.

Do you offer trade prices or wholesale prices?

All prices are as shown on our website. We do not offer trade discounts or wholesale prices. However, for larger orders we may be able to offer a bulk discount. Please feel free to contact us by telephone or by e-mail for more information.

Do the products you supply come with any sort of warranty?

All light fittings supplied by us have a minimum 12 months manufacturer's warranty period from the date the goods were delivered, unless otherwise stated and excluding lamps (bulbs) and battery packs. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. Some of our light fittings are supplied with a longer warranty. This will be stated in the product description where applicable.

Can I collect my order?

Orders can be placed for collection from our Sheffield depot by emailing the Sales Team at info@steelcitylighting.co.uk during office hours. Once your order has been processed we will contact you by telephone or by e-mail to advise you that the goods are ready for collection. This normally takes 1-2 working days, though in the case of special order items may take up to 5 working days.

How will you deliver my order?

Your order will usually be delivered by courier, and will require a signature at point of delivery. Depending on the items ordered these may be shipped direct from the manufacturer's warehouse and using that manufacturer's courier, or they may be shipped via Parcel Force from our Sheffield depot.
